unexpected move/down time
(Note: I will remove this announcement when work is completed)
The SVX World Network is located in a colocation facility and runs on VMware. Due to life and other changes, this server will get exported and transitioned into my closet. Yea, we are going to be a closet forum, but don't fear. No changes initially, but once the move is complete, we will build a NEW virtual machine with upgraded software, new features, and oddly enough the closet had decent UPS power (about 40 minutes worth) and enterprise class fiber feed. If new employment options allow, I will either get a solar and battery backup for this or an automatic backup generator, but income has to be there for that. This could happen as soon as this weekend or as late as three weekends, but it has to be soon. Fingers crossed for NEW beginnings as we approach 24 years (yes TWENTY FOUR YEARS!!) of operations. There will also be a side-site related to my SVX racing and all the technology we have developed and obstacles overcome.
