From what I can gather, the lug nuts on the SVX are M12x1.25 (12mm across with 1.25 thread pitch), correct? I found a set of 17x8 +45 Mustang wheels, but their lug nuts are 1/2"-20.

So my question is, how do the lug holes on the Mustang wheels compare to the SVX wheels? I'm assuming the wheel stud on the SVX is 12mm across, and the Mustang ones are 1/2". When I do the metric conversion, 12mm is 15/32, which is 1/32 smaller than the Mustang. Or put another way, 1/2" is 12.7mm, which to me seems fairly insignificant.

Based on this, is it safe to assume the SVX lug nuts will work on the slightly larger holes in the Mustang wheels?

Dayle at PlanetSVX (http://svx-motorsport-accessories.stores.yahoo.net/index.html)has used many Mustang wheels on the SVXs and they fit without issues. He has used the 17" Bullitt wheels and even has 18" 2012 Mustang GT wheels on his site now.

Stock SVX lugs or aftermarket? Stock will not work with the Mustang wheels. Our stock ones have a shank and washer design, whereas most wheels take a 60 degree taper.

Any aftermarket acorn 12x1.25 lugnut will work though.

I agree. New lug nuts are in order. I have a set of Mustang GT wheels I used for many years and I used acorn tuner nuts. Hub centric rings also for the different bore size.
