So far:
1. intelisevil 2. Sean486 3. theflystyle 4. Abyss 5. ShaneHobson 6. WhatIsThisIDont Still hunting for some kind of DIN connector switch. If anyone knows of one, let me know! |
Re: iPod for stock radio adapters
Wonder if you could have a wire run from the cd player that you could couple with the Aux cable when you wanted the CD input?
|
Re: iPod for stock radio adapters
Def count me in.. I've tried the radio one which is a pain, and currently using the old cassette adaptor... average at best.
|
Re: iPod for stock radio adapters
I could go for a standard aux input, the only reason I wanted to upgrade the stock stereo is for aux in but if you can make the connector I'll buy one.
|
Re: iPod for stock radio adapters
I'd be down had I not installed a new double DIN unit last March. :p
There should be some kind of DPDT switch that would allow you to switch between the CD and AUX input. |
Re: iPod for stock radio adapters
I'd take one..... just let me know when you're ready to make them..
|
Re: iPod for stock radio adapters
how possible to have a dual input cable?
meaning the cd player would still be able to work when powered on but when the aux device is powered off. |
Re: iPod for stock radio adapters
I'll take one!
I haven't used my radio or CD player for 2 years, everything is through my iPhone, which unfortunately is currently fed through a cassette adapter. My cassette adapter is era-correct though... it is the original one that came with my all metal construction 1991 Sony Discman (complete with shock abosorbing mounting plate). :D Anyone here collect antique electronics? |
Re: iPod for stock radio adapters
B 4 You, are you still going to make these?
|
Re: iPod for stock radio adapters
+1 if you make them, I picked up an extra parking light switch to put in place of the coin holder to switch aux on/off. Also considering adding a button next to the security switch or this.

Re: iPod for stock radio adapters
Count me in - you can save postage by shipping mine to Shane Hobson (maybe other Kiwi's ?).
We can split the postage cost Shane ?... |
Re: iPod for stock radio adapters
Probably don't want one now, 80% through fitting my new Sony.
I would have preferred keeping it original. See what happens when they become available |
Re: iPod for stock radio adapters
ok - still count me in though ....
|
Re: iPod for stock radio adapters
I'd be out at this point, I'm tapped since having the bodywork done.
