I think what really got to me was not the damage to a good vehicle, but the other videos that are on the pages from this Tv show. There are people that have thrown Manhole Covers, Bowling Balls, Concrete Bags, and other things off of overpasses, and have killed several people doing it. One video in their collection shows two guys roping an Anchor, and hanging it in the way of an oncoming "Lori".
I think the reality of the fact that others do copy these actions is what upsets me about the Type of show this is. But I get your point also. Thanks

People have been tossing stuff like that off of overpasses since there have been overpasses.
The show is just following, yet embellishing, real life.

Nope. This is from a German TV show, like someone said their version of Miami Vice or CHiPs, and at least a couple years old as we've seen screenshots and the icmdb page posted here a few times in the past.

Yep, just got around to watching the trailer and you can see the SVX in a couple shots. Looks good, nice and shined up, but staged to look like it is wrecked as it is nose first in a ditch (I'm sure no actual damage to his car, this was a last minute stand-in for another car that didn't end up on set that day if I recall).

I'm just making an assumption based on the context of the scene, but I'm guessing this will be yet another case of the SVX being used in a "bad way" on film. My guess is it's involved in a street race that results in the innocent victim being trapped in her wrecked car on the RR tracks. If so, add that to the list of bad SVX behavior on film. We have Loaded Weapon 1 back in 1993 where the bad guy escapes in a SVX, this German show where the bad guy tries to outrun the cops in a SVX, and the real life hour long police chase that happened here and was broadcast all over the country.

Seems about time a SVX should be featured in a film as the hero's car, doesn't it?
