SVX Style Windows in A toyota?

I was walking down a street in bangkok looking for some food and I came across a Toyota, i think it was a Sora? Its deffinately some JDM freak of nature that we dont have in the USA, it looked as if it might have Gull Wing Doors and SVX side windows, I didnt have my camera on me, and I dont have a digital with me anymore, but someone can track it down, it has a short name, and the last letter was a triangle so im guessing its an A...

Que sera, sera, whatever will be, will be

That was a Toyota Sera.

Very neat design, in a hairdresser sort of way.

Sera would be a smaller sister of SVX. I'd love to own one. They are all LHD though

It is nice for sure. It's very hard not to like this car. It is really small and low, and cute looking, like the original Lotus Elan was, and the Mazda Miata/MX5.

It is a tiny tiny motor car. Must be about 3/4 the size of a Miata. You notice this if you look at the photos with girls standing beside it.

You mean RHD Lwin?

The car kindof reminds me of the concept SVX alittle, it would be pretty cool if it were rwd, or awd.

Yeah. Just woke up.

Uh... I thought there were some in Ozland. They have a big website/forum from all over the world too. I posted it once. Members from England, Japan, and Malaysia

The Sera club was at the Auto show where we had our annual meet. Nice little cars but not particularly fast.

One owner had swapped the standard 1.5L(?) engine for a turbocharged engine from another Toyota model. Made a nice job of it too.

Yepp. I read the how-to that he did. Sounds nice.

Those cars definitely look unique. Too bad Toyota doesn't offer any TRD upgrades like they do for the USDM Scion Tc. A nice S/C would upgrade the performance to make it very respectable.

I always thought my sister Sarah should get a Sera - then our cars would sorta match.

No they did not make it down here. Those doors look like they would be just as hard to open in a packed car park, as the SVX is.

Harvey.

I like Sera too. Gullwing door was the big thing for that car. I still see some Seras in Japan.
I heard it's like hell in summer since you are always under lovely sunshine...
