Here is a link to a site where a USB cable can be purchased ($50). This USB cable will allow you to use a laptop computer as an engine diagnostic tool for OBD1 Subarus which support the Subaru Select Monitor (SSM1) protocol.

Drivers and RevScan logging software (Windows only) are available as free downloads.
