Earl and I were able to have our own versions of the original commemorative wine bottles, which were commissioned to celebrate this milestone event. Laser-etched and sand-blasted and filled with silver. Each of our names engraved made them all the more special

I will be bringing mine and delivering Earl's, to Reading. Already building a centerpiece to display this as a guest of honor in one of my wine cabinets

These were the last 2 copies to be made, with a total of 8.The molds have since been destroyed, never to be made again. The inside of the top of the wooden case has the name of the creator, Masahiro Suga, signed in traditional Kanji

This was neither a cheap or simple project to have alcohol shipped abroad from Japan and China without a valid importers or exporters license at each end. They could have been confiscated and destroyed any time along the way. Many different scenarios with considered to stay within the confines of the law. We also acknowledge as our liaison and the actual shipper Hirofumi Ushijima, who did most of the advance groundwork. Last but not least is Ryu Asada "SubaRyu". who through an innocent photo, planted the possibilities...

After a long journey from Japan, the "twins" have finally arrived safely without problems.

Glad everything worked out......finally!
I haven't seen it in person but sure it does look like a quality product. Hope you guys cherrish those for life.

BTW, that's not the Suga-san's shop. It looks like some dining place near his place.

And yes that's Suga-san's name written inside the box but you need to turn it 90 degrees clockwise to read it vertically....and it's Kanji, not Katakana form

As long as your explaining things, explain this photo that Ushijima sent me.

Nice way to go to work if he's law enforcement.




I happened to ask him about the same car in the aerial photo an he said it was his.

He didn't mention the reason but that was one day only mod...... not sure the light bar belongs to him or borrowed. He said he got everybody's attention.

I think it looks pretty cool too. I had never noticed his car from the sky view until you pointed out.

There is almost half the amount of svx's in oz in that pic
