repairment of radiator fan
I made it a new thread.
The genuine radiator fan has been no longer available. I was asked to repair a fan whose blades were bent and unable to turn. The wing had melted near the metal part in the center and was tilted at about 3.5 degrees. I heated it with a heat gun, corrected the angle, and then cooled it down to harden. |

I replaced the bearing and trimmed the threads with a tap and die. The bearing part number was 608zz.
The magnet had come off, so I removed the old adhesive and sandblasted the inside. It seems that I can use Loctite 331 as the adhesive. It's an adhesive specifically for motor magnets. It's expensive, but... |

The adhesive never hardens. I looked it up and it seems I need a hardening accelerator, SF7387. This is more expensive than the adhesive itself. It's a really expensive adhesive.
