Hey, you can have the plates, I WANT THE BLUE SVX !
I thought they only came out in the US?, and possibly the front wheel drive version?
My brother in-law (Nasty Nissan) says he spotted a few SVX's in Newcastle recently, a Black top White and an all Red?

I missed out on those plates by only a short period!

They were available for ages (this was before I bought mine) then, when I went to buy them a few weeks later, they were gone.

Kickng myself over that!

Would either be a respray or a private import - that colour was never offered from new in Oz

James

C'mon people, we need more digital cameras out there!!!
Even if you only buy a cheap one to keep in the car (and on the dash when driving!) in fact a cheap one will give you pictures already the size for the web.
Arthur.

It wasn't deep blue, it was a charcoal grey. It might have been the blue paint they have on the walls part of the car park there? And yes, the number plate is a white plate with three black letters "SVX".

The bodywork is fair, the engine is decent, but that car has had a new steering rack, and various other new bits replaced. Also has a set of non-standard 235 width rims, I keep forgetting the brand.

If you want the plates, you'll have to wait a while. I believe (at last count) there are 4 people to inherit those plates before you.

I can't get away with anything

Ok, spotted a red SVX, number plate "SVX-95" in Oxford Street, Bondi Junction.

I was on foot, so stupid me was so happy I forgot to walk over there and introduce myself. If anyone else spots this one, please inform him of his duty as an owner to visit and post...

It's great to get the SVX out of the city into the country, where it can be driven, as it was designed for. Not so many speed cameras out there.

Harvey.

I took the SVX down from Sydney to Melbourne for New Years (drove down, non stop - 1 day) then along the Great Ocean Road, north back up into Victoria and then back across to Melbourne (1 day) then back to Sydney (1 day)

Did some silly amount of distance but felt incredible - and since Cassie doesn't drive, was only me behind the wheel

There were some mutterings of *ahem* low level flying out in the boondocks but in the most incredible weather, not a soul to be seen, fantastic car and just wafting along, was a brilliant drive

SVX+Autobahn = answer to the question: how FAST will an SVX go

Tone, can I borrow yours???

Time : 11:40 am.

Location : Intersection of Lady Game Drive and Mona Vale Road, West Pymble.
