vice grips. hahahahaha

update on the car. replaced the alt yesturday and im geting the 'alt warning' lights at start up and the alt only produces 13v at idle so i imagine its going to go bad within a month.

no more vice grips or so i thought. i replaced the hood struts and when i was testing them out the passenger side striped out of the hood at about full compression. i was standing on the side of the car by the wheel moving the hood up and down when it happened and the strut shot out between the hood and fender and dinged me in the junk. those bastards decompress with alot of force all aimed at my 'coin purse'.

i swear that car is trying to kill me or at the least prevent me from reproducing.

The wait is over!

My Yahoo Briefcase is up and running again! However, I can't access the briefcase, just the individual files. So here are the links to the avi files:
(Be warned, they're all between 4.5M & 11.5M, so unless you have a broadband connection, they'll take a while to downlaod.)

Test-n-Tune 001 (6,609 KB)
Test-n-Tune 002 (8,816 KB)
Test-n-Tune 003 (5,908KB)
Test-n-Tune 004 (5,962KB)
Test-n-Tune 005 (5,254KB)
Test-n-Tune 006 (7,091KB)
Test-n-Tune 007 (11,434KB)
Test-n-Tune 008 (6,407KB)
Test-n-Tune 009 (4,614KB)
Test-n-Tune 010 (7,181KB)

Let me know if they won't download and I'll see what else I can do.

You're alternator is functioning properly then. Should get approx 13.2 volts from it at idle. My guess is you just have some bad grounds. The lazy simply add more but all you really should have to do is clean up your existing grounds every 10 years and coat them with some electric grease.

Di,
Very cool! Now, how do I get #1 and #5 to actually download to my computer? Right now I can only view the videos.
Thanks.
