oh yeah the other day i broke off a piece of plastic in a friend of mine's saturn. i'm surprised how flaky they are. was holding on to the handle by the window as they were turning, pop, came right off.

also another girl i know's tranny is screwed up....it's only 2 years old with 30k miles on it.

your original post implies that i have more than one high mileage svx. as for giving it to my mother, if the way she's taken care of her saturn is an indication of what will happen to the claret, she doesn't deserve it. she drives a 96 saturn sl1 with 64k miles and its totally trashed.

Oh nevermind then. I assumed that she took care of her cars.

I bought my mom a car a few years ago. 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan. She deserves it, single mother raising 2 kids after my father died. Man were we poor.

which one? my 'D' light was out for two days, then came back. been fine for the last 6 months.

coincidentally, it's my D light as well. my mother left her hair scrunchy in my car last time she was with me and it's currently around teh shifter covering the display. i normally wouldn't even be looking at the dash when putting the car into gear, so i may have not even noticed it going out. i saw it burn out, but i hope comes bank on like yours did. i don't wish to tear my dashboard apart to replace the bulb.
