In the video that John posted although we can not actualy the top bolt of the link, on his car it looks like lots of clearance.

I just measured a still stock SVX on the lift for comparison.
On the passenger side a 5/16" drill bit shank can pass between the banjo bolt and the stock link, BUT it POPS through!
On the drivers side the clearance is just over 1/2"

Yes, I emailed them regarding how they measure the size of their boots, but I think those are going to be the ones that I end up ordering.

I had the same issue but I was using the oem end links with this sway bar. I posted about it on this thread:

This is why my bar is out of the vehicle until a good resolution has been found.

OT,

My best estimate for the length of Nevin's bar, outside to outside, is 122.5 cm or 48 1/4". The bar is difficult to measure on the car with the lateral links, suspension and drive train in the way but that is my best measurement.

The more I look at this the more I am concerned for it does appear that there is little room between the outside bolt and the banjo bolt. How difficult would it be to bend Nevin's bar to create more clearance?

Looks like a problem but can't figure it out from the photo. Looks like the end link bolt and the banjo bolt are almost touching.

By request, I've come out of my Webbatical (no forums or Facebook for a week, just to see what it's like - and it's nice) to offer my take on Nevin's bar.

My clearance is comparable to John's - no chance of hitting the brakes. My endlinks provided no noise, and I would have noticed in my former car - the exhaust was stock and functional. I would say that it had no ill effects in those regards.

Regarding the tail happy nature of the car after the bar is installed, YES IT WILL LOOSEN THE BACK END UP. This is what these bars do! They cut understeer, and depending on your springs, they will invoke oversteer. If you're shopping for outright safety, it was installed at the factory. If you are hunting for neutral steer as your balance and can resist the temptation to hurl your car around in the wet (which is as dumb an idea with the stock bar, all told) then the bar will benefit you.

There's no doubt in my mind that the bar will have a more pronounced effect as you lean toward stock springs. With the 450/385 springs on the Silver, it retained a touch of understeer, but the power and DCCD more than make up for that. With the 385/315 springs, it found a very neutral handling characteristic, and I'd find that to be more than safe for any sensible driver to use. I can't speak for stock springs combined with the bar, but I don't know that I'd try it unless I wanted things to loosen up substantially.

It's a great product. I'd say that giving Ground Control a call first is a good idea, though, and that knowing enough about suspension tuning to be able to choose springs to match this bar and natural frequencies and steer characteristics would also benefit you. Bits and pieces are chosen in specific measurements for a reason, and in my local community, I know only one other guy who's done the math behind his spring choices.

John, what's the driver's side of the unknown car's bar look like?

Got a reply from LarryIII this afternoon. His reply:

The length of the outside of the bar end flats is 47 inches exactly, on my bar.

It looks like this dimension can vary slightly based on the angle of the bends in the bar.

No problem, be that guy. Heavier end link with heim joints on a car that sees dirt rads daily is not the resolution for me, unfortuantely. As it appears, it's not the best in class solution for others either. Installing rubber boots on end links is a band aid at best but it's a start.

I was curious as to what happened to the end link from an Infinity (I think?) on at least one SVX. It looked good in the pic that was posted in the past.
