Officer, I didn't know I'm uninsured

I dont know how the law goes over there. But here we have this nice law that would probably help your situation. It is something to the effect of every driver must drive in a safe manner. Driving in a manor that would alow them to avoid any incident.

There was a case up here very similar to yours, it envolved a car running a red light, and getting wacked by a semi going the speed limit. Anyways, due to this law, the driver of the car actually sued the semi driver and won!

Personally I think it's very screwed up. Almost like the famed burgler though the roof, or the hot coffee.

But just to help your case out a bit, you may want to see if your state has a law that is like that. It is obvious that inorder for her to hit you, while following another car that was making a turn, she was not driving in a "safe manner" as outlined in our law.
