Re: Bontrager Works 22mm rear sway bar kit

It should not matter if the rod ends are symmetrical.
Why are your old ones noisy?
BTW, there is NO rotational noise in your car.
I test drove it again today.
Tomorrow the exhaust band.

Oops.
I have another SVX owners car in for repairs now, and your SVX names are similar.
In fact I have referred to him as YOU, to Di in conversations lately.
And HIS "aftermarket" rear links are very very loud.
Sorry.
But in my defense if I did not post when I was tired I would never post.
And he is from Eastern Maryland too.

Re: Bontrager Works 22mm rear sway bar kit

No worries. When the 2 LH replacements come in ( I accidentally ordered 4 RH ) I will install the reassembled endlinks and hope for silence.

But I will take this opportunity to thank you again for helping me out about a year ago with my SVX .

Re: Bontrager Works 22mm rear sway bar kit

I paid in full on August 29th, by PayPal. Still no word and Emails bounce back.
This would be my second one purchased from Bontrager so, no daggers thrown yet but, I am not a happy camper at this time.

Re: Bontrager Works 22mm rear sway bar kit

From his FB posting at the end of Oct
"... thank you so much for your paitence. I have good news. I am picking up the coated bars this week and have finally sourced and purchased endlinks that suit my needs. I should have more good news for you in about a week. Thanks so much!"

So slowly getting done we hope.

Similar nonresponse from Nevin in my case. Do you know any reason for this or why he hasn't posted on the Forum for 18 months?

THX

Re: Bontrager Works 22mm rear sway bar kit

Like Gwynethh stated, he is a little more active on Facebook. On 11/15 he replied to my message saying:

"im waiting on endlinks to be made. I have the bars, nuts and bolts, bushings, and stickers made but it sounds like the machine shop got backed up and i wont have the endlinks til the end of this week. Then i hope to start shipping next weekend!"

So as I see it he should start shipping the weekend of 11/22, but I'm in no hurry.

Re: Bontrager Works 22mm rear sway bar kit

A NEW update from Nevin on FB.
"Also, those in the first batch who have already paid, i will be starting to ship your bars this weekend. Some missing pieces finally arrived after long last!"

So hang in there SVXers.

Re: Bontrager Works 22mm rear sway bar kit

Great news! I am in no rush, just happy to know it is coming. The first one was a great improvement for my Liquid Silver. The Pearl White wants to be the same.

Isn't there an install document on the forum somewhere? I remember seeing one but can't seem to find it.
