Re: Cumberland Speedweek Saturday, July 13, 2013

Thank you Harry for the shout out. Was much fun as always and great to see you guys.

Wish you could have stuck around for Sunday to see my 10th overall.
I will post my videos as soon as I replace my broken micro USB cable.

Attention is now turned towards the hillclimb, hoping everything can be in order by then.

Re: Cumberland Speedweek Saturday, July 13, 2013

I think the rust is starting to fall away....

5.421 sec improvement over the course of my runs on Saturday in Harry's car.

9.189 sec improvement over the course of my runs on Sunday in OT's Racer.

In your last run on Sunday you dropped two seconds!!!!!

I personnaly believe that it was the combination of "Single Malt", shooting guns, and just being in a RED State!

That, and finally getting my brain wrapped around what the Racer can do and how best to attack the course. FYI - after printing out the results from Sat and Sun it is obvious that the Sun course was ~ 2 seconds "longer".

Don't worry, one of these months I may be well enough to show you how its done. That is so long as OT removes that pathetic lazy many power steering he reinstalled for all the girlie girls he's been letting get behind the wheel.

Elazar,

Have you gotten that pesky cable fixed so you can upload the in-car videos?

Cheers,
Bill

The power steering has about 20-30% more power at idle.
I have not yet taken it for a road test.
It added 9.5 ounces.

Sorry Ben.
