From that news store:
"The paper quotes from an unidentified French scientist, who claims while the dinosaurs walked the earth "the atmosphere of earth became charged with methane, which finally damaged the ozone layer and brought about great changes in the vegetation."

These changes caused a shortage in food which led to the extinction of the dinosaurs.

Yes, I think you have...

"According to an unidentified Salt Lake City pseudo-scientist, the world will end when reincarnated zombie dinosaurs scorch the planet down to the bedrock with flaming pressurized intestinal gas"

That is your theory, isn't it?

Alt power

I really wish Natural Gas would've caught on but then again it was pushed by another Bush back in the late 80's as the promised land of great emissions. Instead of keeping the incentives up for gas stations to install the fueling machines and tax breaks for those who used it the other Bush slowly cut the incentives over his next 3 years. In the end we got crap. Engines which were made to run on both gasoline and natural gas. Had there been enough fueling locations made then you could build natural gas only cars (save 200 lbs of the extra tank and stuff). A purely natural gas vehicle can run at 1.5 times the compression ratio and thus produce about 1.5 times the power. Better yet it burns so clean you don't get any cabon deposits. I'd convert my SVX to it in an instance (imagine 345 bhp running through there w/o any major mods). Conversion would run about $5k. Not bad at all if you ask me. Just wish the nearest public filling station wasn't 50 miles from me.

I AM NOT A MORON oops I meant mormon REPEAT I am not a mormon..... and that is the scariest story I've ever read..... Although I can't find it in any of the city's newspaper morgues. I'm thinking this is the start of an urban legend...

Talking Uncamitzi

I don't know if its a legend or not, but I have the sound file of this story, some brave soul of a DJ actually managed to read it over the air one day, I'll try to dig it up and see if I can post it, IS from the head-fred office of where I work took one of my hard-drives and it may be on that, I'll see if I can recover it....it's so funny tears rolled out my eyeballs..............

Hopefully this will be more successful than the attempt to harness the dirigible power of hydrogen.

I like the biodiesel technology better. Stop at McDonalds and fill 'er up.

Good ole Bio-Engneering.

I eat Chile & Onions and make enough gas to drive another 300 miles.

The future looks bright, stinky but bright.

I was going to take this somewhere but thought better of it after remembering that this is still a family forum here. Just goes to prove that I can control myself and show a little maturity on occasion. <sigh> Being mature sure isn't as much fun as acting immature.

Uhm, yeah.

If it's a family forum, then shouldn't we have immature stuff to appeal to the younger folks?
