sorry to hear about that..be sure to double check things as they say to make sure its leaking and not a cooling fan issue. check the fuses and relays first

Rebello Racing
I have contacted Rebello racing out of California to get a price to rebuild my engine. They are the company that I was refered to by the company that puts together light aircraft engine conversions for the EG33 and EG22, among others. They don't actually build the engines, Rebello does. Rebello also has built the 1000 HP drag race engines from the EG33, so they seem to have more experience than most. They have not in the past been real forthcomming with the changes that they made to acheive these results. I would prefer to get a list of modifications they propose in writing before sending them my motor and my money. I would also like to get the motor bench broken in and dynoed. I'll let you know how I make out. Now I have to convince my wife that it is worth it. Would anyone else be interested in having this done?

i would, but i'm poor.... why don't you just put some new pistons in it? if you do that it should be able to hold around 600hp. a lot cheaper and i can do it. i actually have a motor that is just a long block we can do before we pull yours.

Back on the Road
Just to update everyone. I have been looking into rebuilds but it seems no one is really interested (at least no one I'm confident in).
I've replaced my thermostat with a lower temp version. It seems to take heat changes a bit better. I'm thinking that instead of a gasket leak, it was just a minor overheating due to an air pocket, so I'm back to tuning this weekend. Worked out some other minor issues with my narrow band sensor, wide band sensor, and frequent com failures. Also installed an updated tec 2 chip. Also located a small vaccuum leak. So this weekend I will try to do some more tuning. Wish me luck.
