I got it free from my girlfriends dad when he sold his boat.
On the plus side, if I ever wanted to sail my SVX its got ocean maps
That thing belongs in a museum!

Possibly, but strange as it may sound, later models very in quality and operation and some real pricey ones don't pick up satalites as well as some of the older ones. usually good idea to shop around and maybe check the reviews... reviews made by "real people" some aren't.

GPS mount pics:

This is extremely tech stuff first if you notice a cup holder it's a Walmart special from isle 9071 next to auto maintenance stuff, good luck if you go looking.

The components holding the GPS unit are: plastic electrical pipe 2 inch diameter epoxed to the cup holder, , ain't movin, then another 2 inch piece is glue welded to the first, the cup de gra (sp), I found a spay paint can plastic lid (white part in pics) that is a perfect diameter match to slde on the 2nd 2 Inch plastic, I put the adhesive thingy that came with the GPS on top of the plastic can lid, then stuck the GPS goose neck holder on the adhesive, push the screen on to the goose neck, good to go.

whatever nav unit you use, don't leave it in place if you aren't in the car. that's a nice invitation for a smash-n-grab. i wouldn't even suction-cup mount it to the window, as thieves will look for the "rings" on the glass. probably best to suction mount to the dash using the smooth plastic disc most units come with.
Figured you for a suction cup User.

Don't be a bigger duffus than your Trideca dislike expresses. You need to look look closer Mr A H, that guage is not a guage, the "guages are in the ashtray, open your sorry ojos. That "guage" would be an altimeter, I'm going to Mountana in July & I want to know how many miles up I am as Itravel the Rockies. You on the other hand should stay as far west of the Appalachia west hills as possible cause being from the "Burgh" you don't know, piss runs down hill just like your ****. I think your major problem is you're some variety of tweener that is lost & searching for a tribe & so far it looks like none want your piss ass.

If you think you are soooo classy show this site some pics of your interior A H.

Want a pissing contest, game on

So an altimeter is not a gauge (<---- note spelling)....... ok.
