Ya, they theoretically should use die and check the valve seating. Also the way our valves are you need a jig to hold the head at the right angle in a press and a spring compressor adaptor. They already have it and should be checking the seating before installing the springs anyway so why re-invent the wheel.

Mine probubly wont be in for a week or 2, but I'll let you know when I get them in. I was speaking to LAN about the gaskets. He said that we need to make certain they are the exact same thickness as the factory ones.

Studs and Bearings
Quote:
Check this out http://www.cobbtuning.com/products/?id=2323 They have 11mm and 14 mm oversized studs for the EG 22. They might be able to check the fit and come up with a kit. I would be interested in these as well. You could check with ARP directly You could also check with ARP Directly http://www.arp-bolts.com. There is some interesting information regarding the design of head bolts that we may perhaps need to consider. Cobb also carries main bearings http://www.cobbtuning.com/products/?id=2322 rod bearings http://www.cobbtuning.com/products/?id=2321 I know you already ordered or are going to order clevit bearings, this is for other folks who are still trying to decide. I will probably also go with eagle rods, and a good aftermarket bearing.

Well I need to get bearings and bolts or studs anyway, so who wants to look into it? I'm currently looking into a set of rods myself. I waiting to hear back from Eagle to see if the know anything about using there EJ20/22 rods in a EG33. I figure it's $400 for a set to go a 4cyl, so if they can be used I'm figureing around $600.

As for head studs, I would be happy to do it, but my motor is not out yet. You could send them ARP or COBB and see what they say. They should match up well to an EJ22 kit.

we aren't splitting a set. The sets are weight ballanced. Eagle is putting sets of 6 together especially for me. How ever many sets I've been paid for by tomorrow I will order Friday. So get your money in
