The meet had an awesome turnout! Thank you to everyone who made it possible. Though next year, I would like to see what were going to be driving around

I'll be leaving in a few hours for San Diego, so here's a quick note.
Eric and Jill thank you for putting this all together. And to everyone who came, hope it wasn't too much of a bummer about the weather. I, personally enjoy driving in the fog, it seems like you're going fasting than you really are. Living in Davis with it's "Tule" fog takes the fear away. The roads were just as fun, especially with less traffic. Unfortunately, the mountain still awaits. Another day, perhaps. We have discussed having our next fall drive earlier in September next year in an attempt to avoid the weather problem. So, tentative right after Labor Day or even in late August. Thanx to all for participating in the games and judging. David, Awesome perception. Troy and Norm, your thoroughness proves your supreme gearheadedness to be impeccable. Oh, cell numbers from all next time to avoid lost members. Glad we all found each other again. Finally, the gift for next year. How about a fur seat belt cover with an SVX monogram? Leopard or Tiger or Zebra stripes, Let us know your preference. Mark and Joy

Awesome turnout. We had a great time, and yes driving in that fog was crazy. At least I'll always have the memory of that movie ending...the curtains parting...and then nothing, lol. Also, Earl on that squirel toy at the playgound
 Yes, that fog was very frustrating...seriously we lost each other in a parking lot! But, it sure was memorable A very special thanks to Mark and Joy for the Guigiaro gifts, those things are great.

I like watching Mark drive in the fog, although that is really the normal case. WE only have to wait for a couple week until we have another drive. See You there.

My son and I had a good time, even if the weather wasnt very cooperative.

Oh that picture of Earl is awesome! Ive got a couple of choice shots myself. Heres one of the whole group. One of Earl cowering from a flying squirrel, and Norm, licking a frog. Not only does he like raw oysters, he likes raw frog

Actually the emblem goes on the driver's side front fender just above the crease that separates the upper fender from the lower one, between the wheel and the door. But you can put it wherever you like. On the dash is a good place too, as you can see it better there.

Lol indeed. Im thinking about putting it on the top of the shifter bezel, right below the ash tray. Someone at the meet mentioned that, and I think it would be a cool location.
