So...you were from Peoria. Never been to that part of Illinois yet. I was gonna go there for some Women's Pool Champions Tournament last August held in Par-a-Dice Hotel Casino...too bad I caught a cold. Oh well...

How long you've had your SVX: Almost 1 month (took me 4 months to find her).
Picture of me and SVX (name: Su, DOB: 1992)
on the way home from purchase

Other cars: none (had been borrowing my parent's '94 Saturn for a couple of years)

Finally got around to installing my firewire card for my scanner, now I have one photo in my locker.

I can't answer as to the pool tournament or casino (I've been in Florida for 17+ years now) but as for the rest of Peoria? eh...you didn't miss much. It's a great place to be from!

I did not look for mine, she accidentally came to my life 20 months ago. I fell in love with her at first sight, but she belonged to my younger brother at that time. He gave her up when he lost his driver's license for speeding tickets.

Enjoy your car, and take very good care of her.

To cash! and this Cool thread

Hello all and to many thanks to Cash for starting this Thread.
Very Coool...
Some of these faces look very familiar from the Lafayette Meet.
Good thing.. That whole trip is a haze. Gee I didn't drink that much Tequila.. NOt sure if I got to Thank Halston for that
it was needed after the Drive!

anyways..
Owned the SVX since 99 hence my name.. 92 ls-l

what else did you want to know? um age....
I forgot! 25 I think....

Occupation: computer tech, I fix'em, Toss 'em, Burn 'em and Drown'em. But just mainly build, repair and Keep the stores going... WHy can't the boss hire real computer techs instead of Cell phone guys! NO offense to any cell phone guys..

Not married with children yet
oh well unless you count a great dane as a child.
They're Big enough to be one. Mine goes where ever I go.
I"m still surprised homeward suites let me stay.....

anyhow, um pictures................. pictures..
I have a magical way of staying wayward of cams. so there's not many.. I will have to search for some.... Hey some from Lafayette have one or 2.... SNeaky cams.. Collin or maybe Mike.. I think may have one..
Location... Asheville, NC.

Other piece of metal on wheels..
86 lincoln cont..
honda motorcycle

THe SUbaru was a small switch.. THe dog no longer has a fluffy seat to stretch out in.

NO I haven't owned as many cars as some. then again.. that Old lincoln did very very well by me so there was no need to trade up.
gets about the same gas mileage as the Suby..

This is the first Suby I've owned and ever liked , other then XT6 and now the NEWER suby's... the others just didn't interest me I guess, until I found out a few bits about the history and FUN factor... Live and learn. wha't else ya wanna know?

THe leaves are changing as WE speak. in another 2 weeks I fear all anyone will see is ugly brown leaves on the ground. so enjoy the hues of yellow, red, amber, and orange while you can..

anything else.. !

Hey, Dick - I see you're a member of the Rust Belt Club, along with me, Lee & now Randy ii. I wonder how many other members stumbled upon these orphani as life rolled by. Hey - fun to drive, easy to stop with feet extended throught the floorboards!

I loved my Tonymobiles!

Ron.
I loved both those Fiats - similar to the SVX in that there was a LOT of technology but they didn't take the engineering and construction quite far enough.

As they say - "FIAT" stands for "Fix It Again, Tony" . . .

Cool. I used to live in Newmarket back in '75 thru '78. In those days the population was something like 12,000 I think.
We passed through about 5 years ago and we could not believe how it's changed.
