'92 SVX LSL Carfax Please?

I recently got my hands on a Black/silver '92 SVX LSL who has had some recent work done to the engine, the power steering lines, and the pulley wheel. Can somebody here help me with a carfax history report? Thank you! Much appreciated.

The Odometer reads 149,003, But I am told told it has had some work done in the engine and the transmission has been swapped from a 5-speed Impreza with about the same mileage on the engine after the work.
Can you tell me anything on it through carfax? Do I got a junker or what?

Carfax isn't going to tell you anything about the above info. To be honest, Carfax is severely overhyped and preys upon people's fear that they might end up buying a POS when that is the exception, not the rule like they make it seem to be. It is good for telling if it has been in an accident, has odometer rollback, and how many owners. But, sometimes accidents won't always be on there if there wasn't a police report and someone did their own repairs (whether pro quality or amateur). Also, it won't tell you how bad an accident that happened, it is very general and vague. Check the car out very well, if possible, take it to a trusted mechanic or have a friend who knows a bit to check it out. Checking a car over in person will tell you a hell of a lot more than some internet site that just gathers info from repair shops and police records.
