Political Change??????????????

I am watching the Illinois fiasco with great interest. For all of you "Change" voters, it seems we got a change alright. A big move to the side of political "cronyism" and corruption. Questions are now being asked about the fast rise of Obama out of this cesspool of corruption. Its obvious already that if you didn't "pay to play" in the Illinois poltical arena and particularly the Chicago area, that you did not get anywhere. Obama has never been able to explain his fast rise and all of his corrupt connections.

I think this is going to get verrrryyyyyyyyy interesting.

The american people don't embrase rapid change easily. Obama is just to different from what they're used to, and in all reality, shouldn't have won. I wonder what happened behind the scenes that they picked him. I agree, it happend way to fast.

I know you really don't believe this. Besides, I won't let you off that easily--you have to cite specific examples of direct or potentially indirect involvement of Bush.

Haliburton--the only company in the world that could have performed the functions at the time the contract was let. KBR IS Haliburton.

Enron???? As I recall the Bush administration has done more to prosecute white collar crime than any previous administration.

Valerie Plume???? There was no corruption involved here. The only thing that came out of this was the Libby did not tell the truth under oath. Remember Bill Clinton impeachment????

Failed oil companies??? What is the allegation of corruption here????

"I need not say more??????" You haven't said anything that makes sense or is relative to the corruption label. How about getting real and really coming up with some corruption. As usual you are long on words and lacking in substance.

Political arguments are the best. They never end! and nobody is ever right! They get to the bottom of nothing and will more than likely bring the worst out in everyone. Its all based on B.S. Something to keep us busy, a reason to work and pay taxes, the all mighty dollar.

Nice to see someone who has already embraced socialism head on, and with a smile yet!

Give it time. He's not even in office yet (although he is arrogant enough to have his little "Office of the President Elect" signs) and is already breaking his promises.

Neither candidate was worth anything. obama was the worse of two evils, elected on an empty platform with very scary behind the scenes power players. Give it time. You'll learn.

Forget about selling senate seats. Obama and to a lesser degree McCain ran their campaigns on the key note of "Change." Thanks to the Bush administration and the soon to be Obama administration, the only thing left that most Americans will have is some loose change.
