Brake lights
Hi - I'm in England and (unsurprisingly) have a UK-spec SVX. On the trailing edge of the bootlid (=trunklid!) there is an inset strip which looks as though it's filling the hole for a third brake light; is this the case? If so, does anyone know where I might get the correct light to put in there? Thanks for any advice!
Best wishes |

Hi,
The inset strip is actually a transparent red brake light with paint on it. You can remove the paint and install a couple of bulbs or LEDs behind it. Have a read of this: http://www.subaru-svx.net/forum/show...t=14449&page=2 Phil. Last edited by b3lha; 04-14-2005 at 03:42 AM. |

Or better you can always check Ebay, for they are always selling this third brake light. I prefer if you get the Stock brake light for it which will look better than if you do it by yourself.

Thanks guys
Information much appreciated! I've not seen one on eBay - but maybe I've not looked hard enough . Failing that I'll go the DIY route. Thanks again, and keep rolling.
