I bought two STI filters during the life of my SVX and I got both brand new off of Ebay (I did a search using the terms 'STi' & 'filter').

Now that I own a WRX, I felt the $70+ price tag was a little pricey. As a result I've switched to using a Blitz LM panel filter. Runs about $40 and you can also purchase one off of Ebay.

I double checked my pricing on the filters. You should be able to buy the K&N at your local auto parts store for cheaper than I could sell it to you. The Blitz I have to sell at straight list so you should be able to find that on ebay cheaper. As for the STi filter...

List: $82.95
SVXNet - $69.00

Shipping would be cheap because it is small and very light.

Thanks,
Jackie

That's a great price! I paid low to mid $70's + shipping for my STI panel filters off of Ebay. Thanks for helping me out the other week on those clips for my WRX. I need to stay away from those dang autoX cones!

Forgive the question, but I never looked into getting an STi filter before... Are they reusable or is all that $$ for the "bling" of having a filter with "STi" on it??

They do not technically list them as reuseable since they do not sell a recharge kit for them. I would personally at least give it a try before buying a new one though. Same with the new SPT intakes that are out...no recharge kits but I will surely try it when it comes time to change it.
