Okay I have been talking with Ikke and he can start the car once he moves the gear shift a bit so it is clear the problem is the shift indicator on the side of the box. Given were he lives it could have moisture in it. As they only sold very few SVX in Italy, I asked the dealer in Australia and they said there are two types depending on model and hold you breath they want $250 for it. So we are seeing if the one from the Rally car will fit and we will send it to him.
As he said this morning at least he can now start the car. Tony
