Anyone with paypal dispute experience?

My winning bidder for this item:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=140054881155
has opened a PayPal dispute because the item was "significantly not as described" because it was DOA.

The auction clearly states that it was as-is, not tested, and from a nonworking computer, and quite honestly I don't know why someone would bid so high for something that would appear to have a low chance of working.

I've never had a dispute filed against me before, and I've never filed one myself, so what should I do?

Looks to me you are covered. The ad clearly states the status is unknown, and came from a non-working system.

At least PayPal changed their rules where they don't freeze your entire bank account like they used to. Now they just freeze the funds involved.

The only issue I can see with that bid is that in the bid itself, you said the processor was socket 847, but the title says socket 478. Any person who knows about a computer and is buying processors should know that there is no socket 847 and the title being socket 478 is correct. I think you'll be covered though.

Ha, I didn't even notice that. I'm pretty sure I have a mild case of dyslexia, I type stuff backwards quite a bit, but usually I catch it.

I don't think he can go after you for it not working, you pretty clearly state that it might not in the auction.
