The offset on the OE wheel is 55mm. I think I've known some folks here that are running a 53mm offset with not problems. I don't know if I'd try a 40-45mm.

Those rims...

Those rims look somewhat like mine. Mine are ADR GT-Sport. The color of mine are quite unique though. It's called hyper silver. Alot brighter and shinier than regular silver finishes. Check out my Locker for pics. (Size 18 x 7.5)

sorry black.....

but they have the wrong bolt pattern. they will fit my GTI and TSI though.

randy the svx will take any offset above 38mm. i know because i have been doing it for over a year now. they only thing you need to be aware of is the width of the rim. keep it under 7.5 inches. otherwise you will be rubbing. stop with the svx has trouble with aftermarket wheels myth.

And just how many half-shafts have your replaced?

Sorry, Leo. Just had to give you a little "dig." I know you'd do the same for me.

nice try randy.....

my cv axle woes, which are now over, are not because of my wheels. the primary cause of that trouble is that my car is two inches low. this causes the axles to be at an awkward angle. that plus the treacherous Memphis streets and stiff suspension equals short cv axle shelf life.

Correct me if I am wrong... isnt Shelf life the life span of it on the shelf... so who cares how bad the streets are, shelf life wont change...

Let me clarify. The bolt pattern is 5x100 or 5x4.5. The svx takes 5x4.5. They will fit
