Cam & Crank Sensor Codes

I know I haven't been around in awhile, I sold my SVX to a friend and bought a Celica All-Trac, the automatic was killing my soul but I was addicted to AWD

Currently, the SVX is throwing codes 11 & 13 after dying on the highway and the temp gauge shooting up. I advised the owner either both sensors really are bad, or the timing belt skipped a beat. Which one would you guys say?

doesn't take long to check the timing belt. then you could eliminate or do the belt whichever??

It's unlikely they all went bad at the same time. +1 to the checking the timing belt idea.
