Flowmaster muffler question
Ok so I'm looking into getting a Flowmaster muffler but am not sure what series is the best for my car. I've seen the vid on youtube of the guy with the Flowmaster on his SVX and he had the 80 series for F-Body.... im looking more at the super 44 series, but am not sure which series is the best for sound and performance with our engines... I want mine to sound really load and have that distinct H6 Boxer sound that I know our cars posses! I just need someone to point me in the right direction to unleash the beast! can anybody help or input their opinion?! thanks

Re: Flowmaster muffler question
I believe only the series 80 Flowmaster is the correct layout for a stock-ish install with the single inlet and dual outlet, one on either side.
If all you want is something really loud, just take off the muffler and put a down-turn on there. I guarantee you it'll be loud... but you'll also hate your life after 10 minutes.

Re: Flowmaster muffler question
Will a Flowmaster muffler weld/bolt right in, or does the entire catback need to be modified to accept it?

Re: Flowmaster muffler question
It will require significant tubing/bending and fabrication, or a kit.

Re: Flowmaster muffler question
Keith,
The exhaust kit pictured on my Ebony is offered through Tom, Eric and I. This kit is a bolt-on installation. http://allwelldrive.net/products_cat-back.html

Re: Flowmaster muffler question
I put a Magna flow on my 92, sounds really sweet when you put the pedal down or wind her through the gears.....But I didn`t do it with the stock configuration.....I had them cut the cat. off, put the Magna flow in, come off that with a staight peice to the rearend, Tee off of that to both of the stock tips....I guess 6 to one and half a dozen to another....
