Rusted Battery Tie Down
I cant secure the battery because one of the tie down holes is rusted out
 Any suggestions? Thanks

Sorry not to be clear, its the hole below the base of the battery. I think the only way to fix is to weld a little piece of metal???

I would highly suggest cutting the rust out, etch-priming the area, and welding on a grommet for the tie down to hook into. I have not seen one that badly rusted that the tie down hole is ruined.

yea just weld some new metal over it or removel the bottom tray from a parts car and weld it to yours so It doesn't looked hacked up.

The battery was leaking and the previous owner didnt know and I think thats why the hole was rusted out
