Has anyone used Disc Brakes Australia brake kits? If so, what is your experience, advise etc?

I will contact AUSSVX about this. He has a set.

Being Australian, they should be freaking EXCELLENT!! We don't make shoddy car parts here - they need to be superb to handle our conditions.

Re: Brake kits

Yeah I have them on the front, they're pretty much the same as the original SVX ones, I can't notice any difference which is a good thing! and mine are just the standard type.

They sell standard, drilled, slotted and drilled and slotted. I guess drilled and slotted are the best BUT all disc types aside I think that the major difference will be taking off the brake shields

I am a big fan of Australia! The people are great!

Would love to go and see some of the beauty and the people. (Not saying that the people aren't beautiful also)

Re: Brake kits

There's shields on the inside of your brakes and discs which make it hard to dissipate the heat.

Re: Brake kits

Is there a down side to removing the shields?
