Just, wow.
I was going to comment on that statement also. I think the ad is done as a joke or there's a typo on the price. Another auction I saw just ended for a 1996 Impala priced at $100,000.00. For some reason nobody bought it.

Maybe the decimal is just one off? Although $8k seems a bit low.
