Re: look what arrived from USA
Yes - and sooo heavy !!!!
they came individually double-boxed from USA, I picked up 2 boxes thought they we not to bad in weight, then I picked up the next 2 (nearly had a hernia !!! - these were the front ones!!). They cost US$40 each in postage - still way cheaper than OEM here in NZ. I think they are X-ray inspected as they have a number of stampings on the edge stating date manufactured, dated finished off, size (thickness & dia), and p/n with inspection information code. Only little is that I need to do is get a wet stone to remove a couple of burrs that have occured after the slots were machined out - they are barely noticeable by hand - but will kill the new pads. Will fit them when the other stuff arrives, also will take before & after photos. |

Re: look what arrived from USA
Mal,
I am sure that if you sent them yours they would make for you ...... I think the 4WS ones (vented) are very different size to the normal SVX - but they may actually be easier to make from stock SVX fronts ??? |
