EvoScan and ECUtune cables.

I have ordered the evoscan cable and I am borrowing icings ecutune cable.
I was wondering if the ecutune cable can be used on evoscan software and if the evoscan cable can be used on the ecutune software?
Does anyone know?

Re: EvoScan and ECUtune cables.

I bought Evoscan and the cable and have never been able to get it to work.
I sat with the Evoscan developer for an hour in my car* trying to sort it out, but without success. He was certain the cable & software were ok.
I've since tried the laptop, cable & software in two other SVXs, no success.
I've also bought another cable from Evoscan and still no go.
Gave up and have loaned the whole lot to Surtees.

Significant Technical Input
Re: EvoScan and ECUtune cables.

If you two wanted to get together and order two ECUtune cables in one shot you could save on the shipping and save the hassle of trying to play around with something that doesn't work. My ECUtuner software and interface definitely do work. You just need a laptop with a 32 bit version of Windows.

Shipping to New Zealand is $29 no matter how many I put in the box.
