ECUtune 1av1 question
Can you stick a 1av1 ECUtune modded ECU in a 92 AWD with a 4.44 swap...does it matter the swap was done?

Re: ECUtune 1av1 question
Like he said, the final drive ratio isn't an issue for the ECU. It is an issue for the TCU though. The final drive ratio is programmed into the transmisison control unit. The TCU uses it to translate the vehicle speed sensor 1 signal into a speed reading. The speed calculated from vss1 is one of the most important parameters the TCU uses. If you do not reprogram the TCU to match the new 4.44 final drive ratio then it will be 25% off in everything it calculates and looks up using that value.

Re: ECUtune 1av1 question
What He ^ said.
The TCU chip for a 4.44 will make a big difference in how the transmission shifts. I was driving the Version 3 TCU chip to PGH. and back the other day and IF I can get off of my frozen/icey/deathtrap road, will give an ipmression of how it does.
