"Click" when braking ONLY in "P" located by shift lever
Just like the title states it, my 95 svx has a loud click right below the "shift lock" mechanism letters when I press the brake to shift out of "P". It only clicks when the ignition is on ACC or ON position also only when shifting out of "P". The click can be felt if I touch the gear selector bezel. Any ideas, comments?
TIA, Sam

Re: "Click" when braking ONLY in "P" located by shift lever
That's the solenoid clicking to unlock the shifter. It's connected to the brake switch. It's just doing it's job. The lettering is there to indicate the access point to release the shifter if the brake switch or solenoid fail.
