Question Front/Rear Bumper Repair

I bought my SVX used in 2005 and am going to start getting her in showroom shape. The bumpers, especially the front one has a lot of chips and the rear one has a couple gouges in it. They don't go all the way through but definitely some material missing. Neither bumper is cracked.

Is it costly to have a pro repair plastic bumpers or should I try to locate some replacements and get them painted?

thanks
Syb

Re: Front/Rear Bumper Repair

Keep your bumpers and have them repaired and painted. If you change them and get them painted it will cost you a lot more.
It should be under $500 for sure.

P.S. Nice car. My '97 is the same color but has a lot more miles.

Re: Front/Rear Bumper Repair

Thanks Blacky.

Have you had any painting done? If so do you have the color code?

Re: Front/Rear Bumper Repair

No painting yet though the hood and front bumper need repair and paint. The color code is on the information plate under the hood near the windshield on the strut tower drivers side I believe.
