The inside doesn't yellow, it just gets an oily haze which gives it a yellowish hue.

So do you sand the inside of the lens too? Or just clean it with Windex (or some other solvent)?

I wash it with soap and water to get the oil off, then use the fine polish on the inside.

The inside doesn't get physically damaged like the outside does.
