Talking A promise is a promise

I think I promised some pictures a while back after I used the Carnauba wax on my car. I spent half the day cleaning the Gun inside and out. It was great fun It has been nearly 3 months since the waxing, but here they are:

Oh and keep in mind that those fluid stains on the circular driveway aren't from the SVX

You need to polish your headlights really bad man. They look yellow next to the silver paint.

Use Lwin's wet sanding method. I tried it... wasn't satisfied cuz it left some streaks... I think I just didn't take enough time, though. You can find his write up on his website. Should make those a LOT better!

Oh, yeah... she looks pretty nice. Good shine, especially after 3 months. So what kind of wax did you use exactly?

Just use chrome polish. It has a VERY slight abrasive to help cut through that oxidized layer of plastic, but not enough to 'scratch' it. It works wonders.

It is Mother's Carnauba- the whole three step- remove, touch-up, wax thing. Works great. I felt special- on the way home, I rolled past a Corvette that had hardly been off the lot for a week... the Gun was shinier This wet-sanding method you speak of, this involves opening the headlight case does it not?

Chicane- are you talking about using the chrome polish on the inside of the lens?
