After "rusty hinges", Knocking on hell's door

... figuratively speaking of course... hell being some component of the direction. When I turn in a parking lot (sharper than let's say on the highway where you barely steer), I hear and feel a knocking pulse againt the steering wheel. This only occurs if I give some gaz while turning... otherwise, nothing. I guess my CV's are due. I'm not very familiar with the exact name, and I'd like to know how much I should prepare myself to donate to a Subaru charity.

Yes. What you say does appear to indicate the CV joint is goingf bad. The front axles are usually replaced in pairs and there are after market axles avaialable or you could have yours rebuilt if you got time. New SVX axles are around $360us the last time I checked.

****! I didn't know you even were serious about it... This really is a familly site? If so, just a question. You really think censoring our "bad language" will keep kids safe from what they'll find elsewere on the internet?

If I were a kid, I know I'd think of plenty other places then this one...

We just try to keep this area a clean and "classy" place. There really isn't any need for "questionable" language. Please take no offence to my request, I'm just trying to watch out for those who may be offended by the language and stuff.

Absolutely not!

If I were a kid, I know I'd think of plenty other places then this one...

Then let the kiddies go there!

If you have to pick your nose & drool on the dinner table, please find another restaurant to dine in. It's that simple.

No offense intended.
My nickle's worth.

Ron.

Peeling & chewing old Wrigley's remnants from beneath the chairs is acceptable behavior, as long you keep your mouth shut.

Ron (decorum R us).
