How do I submit a post to the Chris's Shop Forum? When I go to that forum there is no "New Thread" button to click on. Is Chris's Shop open? Oh Mr. Modeerator, youse better get moderating. Larry III

The "shop" is locked for now, until it is cleaned and swept and ready (see the little lock on the door to the left?). Just hold your . . . (should I say it? Oh, what the heck.) TATERS!

Working on it
Well, I have someone that can semi-activly asnwer our tech questions. Just running into a few bandwidth and connection problems. He wants me to remind everyone that he will do what he can, as he can, but he is NOT an "enthusiaist." He recently got married and has a family to deal with now. Plus there is the fact that snow is comming soon and he is an active snowmobile freak. We are running into some minor problems that I am trying to work out. First off, he doesnt live but about 2.5 miles from here, but there is no DSL or Cable service in his area. Next, he is on "old" copper lines and the BEST his 56K modem connects at is 14.4 and most of the times less. This makes visits here a bit painful for him and he is not known for patients. I suggested satellite internet connection, but he is not willing to pay the price for it. If anyone has suggestions, I am open to them. Until then, we are still trying to figgure out how to do this with the greatest performance and the least hassle.
