Cool What would you do......

with an unexpected $1000?

I may be getting an unexpected $1K bonus and I don't really know what I should do with it.
Stereo
Exhaust
Radar detector
Brakes

Etc, etc

Let me know what you think

~~ Michelle (not sure what to do since I don't yet have my car back from the paint shop)

Well let's see, you are already getting done what I would do.My next option would probably be wheels and tires. You already have them. How are your struts? If they have not been replaced that might be a good use of the money.Or maybe just keep it in the rainy day fund. That is always an option.

Significant Technical Input
Have you ever considered adopting a mechanic? They're extremely handy, a lot of fun and already house-broken. Your bonus check should just about cover the initial paperwork.

Be charitable,

Buy Gfts to give away at the 10th Anniversary SVX Meet.

Who else would post this kind of suggestion?
or

Michelle,

Spend it on something which will bring both you and Chris joy and beautiful memories.

Cool

Ahhhh.... Michelle, you're really in luck!
You've just come into enough money to purchase a LIFETIME supply of Ripimoff Industries' latest car care product offering, the FABULOUS new paint protector system - YES! I'm talking about YAK-WAX. You've probably heard about it on AM radio in northern Manitoba!
Are you now gonna' worry about that first ding, or scratch, or bird-poop splat that will PERMANENTLY mar that precious new paint job on your pride & joy? You worked hard, long hours to pay for that new car look on your baby, & you'll do ANYTHING to protect & preserve that new finish, won't you, Michelle? Of course you will. That's why the experts here at Ripimoff developed the YAK-WAX protection kit, amazingly priced at only $995.99 plus shipping & handling of only $127.95. By applying a quarter inch thick layer of YAK-WAX, & letting it harden in the sun, you'll protect that beautiful SVX's new coat from virtually any foreign substance, or carelessly flung open SUV door at the Wal-Mart. YAK-WAX is very durable & some motorists report the protection lasting for up to 30 days!! When necessary, simply re-apply a fresh coat of YAK-WAX with the handy YAK-SPATULA, included FREE with your first 50 gallon shipment. So..."What should I do with this $1,000 bonus"? Ha - I guess the answer's obvious now!!
Hurry - buy today, supplies are limited.
Send check for $995.95 plus $127.95 S & H to:

Ripimoff Auto Care Products
P.O. Box 666, Kabul, Afghanistan.
Please allow 4 to 6 months delivery. It takes time for the Yaks to uh... develop the wax.
