My latest project this upcoming week: Rolling shots
I'm taking a crack at it again. I plan on doing them again this thursday when I have more time and a better location. Focusing and arm steadiness is much more important in these shots but I have the hang of it.
This week I'll be doing a 2005 WRX and my SVX once its cleaned up.       Some aren't focused as well as i'd like but I should have it perfected by this thursday

Thanks! It was done in shutter priority mode with a shutter speed of 1/30 typically. I also used AI Servo for the autofocus but it requires you panning at the same speed the car is moving in order to make sure the cars in focus.
It's really hard to find an empty parking lot with shade. This one wasnt particularly big so it was even more difficult.

Nice! I'd just stay away from backgrounds with a lot of verticals in them (trees in this case...). -Bill

The WRX shots were only still shots. I had a small run-in with the law and suspected of "street racing" when in actuality I was parked on the side of the road. I also forgot my wallet that day so I had no license when he stopped me
 I only had the still shots
