Slotted Rotor Vibration
I had this braking vibration. It was a buzz type of vibration. It was more pronounced on the right side then the left. As it turns out the wheels bearings had worn on the edges and the vibration was from the slotted rotors.
When the slotted rotors were new there was no buzzing and I rode these slotted rotors for a long time. Pushing thru the corners and having some fun. Then the buzzing started. No other noise or vibration was present. Just the buzzing when braking. The harder the braking the more sever the buzzing. Well after awhile it became obvious the bearings were wearing. The rotor started to scrape and make noise when going around long sweeping corners at high speed. Mostly a left hand turn and this was the right side that buzzed. I tighten up the wheel nut and rode for a long time after that. Then the bearing started to make noise all the time. Take care of that SVX! John

Re: Slotted Rotor Vibration
So slotted rotors are no good, cause I have to buy brakes and rotors soon. I was planning to get ceramic pads and drilled and slotted rotors. and some gold caliper paint to go with the sti wheels.
