Re: DDM HID Kit

Are these these plug and play or do I have to cut up my light harness?
Also, can I just pop in a different temp blub if I don't like the color?

I'm in CT, and interested in some HID, but I have no clue about how these install...

Re: DDM HID Kit

If they are like the ones on my car , you un plug the bulb and plug this in and attach the ballast to the fender and put hew new bulb in. Sort of in a series . No you can't just change bulbs. If they are 5000k they will be a littler warmer than white 600K is white and 8000K is blue....What you driven , we are trying to contact the CT SVX people

you can change the color temperature of your bulbs. just order the right bulb and the desired color temperature. Not too difficult.

5000k is going to give you the whitest light and the highest lumen output. going higher, the lights get more blue-white, a lower number, the lights get more yellow.

Here is a chart outlining the differences.

Photos of my 5000K HID low beams and fogs can be found in my locker. Daylight and night.
