Best orientation for security module antenna
While I have the glove box out, has anyone experimented to find the best orientation for security module antenna? Going up vertically would seem logical, except it would then be surrounded by the sheet metal...
Mine was folded in a "U", horizontally.Not sure if this was intentional.

I wouldn't mind increasing the range of my factory alarm either. On another vehicle, I added a six foot piece of 18g wire to the antenna wire and then ran it through the ceiling. This did increase the range quite a bit. I wonder if this can be done with our alarms. Maybe someone has done this already?
