No power to A/C

I have no power to my whole A/C dash controls. I don't have a manual to the car, and the cover on the inside fuse panel is gone. Where can I order a manual for the car so I can track down the electrical problem. I can't turn on the A/C at all, I hope its just a fuse problem, but all the fuses appear ok. I'd still like to have the manual anyway.

you have a couple of choices

listed in no particular order

www.alldata.com - an online source of information @ $25 yr

Chiltons manual - covers multiple Subarus, not great but price & availability is good

factory manual - relatively expensive dealer item or for one online example see http://www.subaruparts.com/catalog/?section=203

And last but not least, ask on this fourm. i'm constantly amazed at how much info and how freely it's shared. Looking at my interior fuse box, there's three rows of fuses - from left to right, top to bottom it's labeled:

15a - back turn, 15a - wiper washer, 20a - cigar mirror, 15a - f-fog, 10a - tail clearance, 20a - f-wiper, 20a r-def

15a - srs airbag, 10a - illumi, 15a - tel, 15a - r-wiper, 20a - stop horn, 15a - dr lock, 10a - egi unit at unit

10a - meter srs lamp, 15a - e/g ign srs airbag, 15a - radio, 10a - cruise abs, 20a - abs solenoid, 15a - heater, 15a - heater

There are some files in my locker that may help you with your AC problem. B.

So THAT'S why my cigar mirror wasn't working - the 20a fuse is blown!

Hope you all had a merry Christmas!!!
